JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Unit Manager, Personal Lines Specialists play a crucial role in advising customers on the insurance products available from different companies. Their mission is to respond effectively and favorably to the specific needs of each customer. In addition, they ensure quality customer service by providing attentive, personalized follow-up for every customer.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
Greet, listen to, and advise customers, analyzing their needs to recommend the most suitable insurance products and services;
Proactively manage customer files, including policy updates, renewals, terminations and amendments;
Seize and leverage sales and referral opportunities, while developing the customer portfolio;
Carry out all necessary correspondence, including letters and miscellaneous communications;
Follow up on customer files, ensuring payment processing and collection of required documents;
Negotiate with insurers to obtain the best terms for customers, while maintaining a trusting relationship;
Complete reports and dashboards, and participate actively in team meetings.
Keep abreast of new developments and opportunities in the insurance industry to improve customer service constantly;
Present insurance products, their features, and benefits, making information easy to understand for customers;
Represent the company's values and image in all interactions with customers and insurers.
THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:
Valid AMF license as a Personal Lines Broker.
A.E.C. in property and casualty insurance or equivalent (an asset).
Experience in sales or customer service in personal lines insurance (an asset).
Proficient computer skills, including Office Suite and company software (an asset);
Proven ability to identify customer needs and propose complementary products.
Customer service-oriented and goal-oriented.
In-depth knowledge of insurers' underwriting standards and rules.
Excellent sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
Autonomy and organizational skills.
Ability to solve problems and manage priorities.
Good knowledge of French, bilingualism an asset.

Commissions
5% annual bonus based on achievement of targets and company performance
